I just wanted to let you know that this product worked so well for my cat Athena, I had to get it for my other cat also!

I am against declawing - but this product will help preserve my furniture. My cats are post trained, but sometimes they get it in their head that a certain chair or something is acceptable. I really like this product and my cats seem to have had no problem wearing them. We're all very happy.

I think Soft Claws is such a terrific idea, and such an easy alternative to declawing a cat. I have a household pet that used to scratch endlessly where she shouldn't. I talked with my vet and discovered Soft Claws. She has worn the pink Soft Claws ever since. Her name is Twinkle Toes - Twinkie, and she's a black & white rescued kitty. Just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my (and my kitty's) heart! we are so delighted with "Soft Claws". We were searching for an acceptable (humane) alternative to declawing. My cat's health and happiness come before my new furniture. However, it is nice to be able to enjoy both! Soft Claws are everything that you describe and more. My cat allowed me to outfit her in her purple paws without issue. It took about 3 minutes to apply them and they remain on all 10 nails even after the first application (10 days ago).

I ordered a couple of sets of (clear) Soft Claws from you recently. I have four kitties who are largely trained to the several scratching posts in my house, but sometimes claw on my bed dust ruffle and my bedside chair.

They were very easy to apply and none of my cats seemed to mind them afterwards. I worried they might "walk funny" or lick their paws excessively for a few days -- this never happened. I can't tell they're in place (they are), so next time I might order one of the colored sets. Colored ones would also make it easier to find a dropped one!

I've been using Soft Claws on my cats now for three years. Started with Smudge and Custard, and when Max and Fin came along they got them too. Pooka Winky and I love them - and we think every kitty in the world and their person should have these as an option. I first heard about them from my American vet in England and I had a hard time finding out about them. When I got to the States, someone eventually told me the name of the product and I found it immediately on-line. After recovering from the loss of my 18 year old companion, Tigger. My boyfriend finally gave in allowed my to get a new kitty. I did however have to agree to have it declawed, but felt that that was a better option than no cat at all. I agreed to the declawing prior to knowing anything about it, other than some cats were declawed and some were not. After getting my TWO new kitties, I followed thru with my part of the deal and looked into having both cats declawed. I soon became very sick to my stomach after finding out exactly what declawing entails. Although I am a surgical nurse I had been under the impression that declawing just entailed removing the nail from a cats paw. I was horrified to find out that it actually entailed amputating the entire first joint of a cat's fingers. I also realized how incredibly painful this procedure was for the cat and realized I could not do that to my cats. Luckily, my vet recommended me trying Soft Claws before giving my new kitties away. The Soft Claws have become a part of our cat's individual personalities and have saved my kitties from being tortured for the sake of saving my boyfriends new furniture. They are incredibly easy to put on and stay on for a pretty long time. My one cat, Cleo, is a little more frisky than her little brother, Little "G", and sometimes tries to pull them off but other than that they have saved our home from the terrorizing effects of two small kitties. Thank you very much for offering such an incredible and humane alternative to declawing.

I have to tell you - so far, I am THRILLED with the Soft Claws. I received my set about three weeks ago and haven't put them on Owen because I was sure I needed my boyfriend to be here to help me. But this afternoon, while O was dozing in the dining room, I went out and trimmed one of his nails and then slipped on a Softpaw. He never even opened his eyes!!

So, over the next 30 minutes, I managed to get four more Soft Claws on him. Then he woke up, sat up, stretched and walked over to his food bowl. He never even looked down at his feet once. It's been over an hour now and he's up here on the ironing board next to me looking out the window. He has yet to touch his paws. He doesn't even seem to know he's wearing them.

I'm ecstatic!! If these puppies work on Owen, you may want him for your poster cat! No one, my family, friends, etc. has EVER seen a cat more destructive than Owen. I should send you pictures of my front and back door screens, which he SHREDDED about two weeks ago. Not only can he fit through the holes, I could probably climb through them too. Owen's specialties include screens, carpet, speaker covers and windowsills.

My boyfriend has continually been amazed with the patience (interpretation: WHY do you still have him?) I show Owen. But I could never declaw him (think it's cruel) and there's no way I could give him away (who would love him more than me?). While he may be destroying my home, he's so cute you about cry looking at him. He is gray/black/white with long hair and looks like a Maine Coon cat.

I'm going to let him get back to sleep and then try to put the rest of these on. I'll keep you posted.

I never thought I would be a person to write a testimonial, but here it is. I have a cat who is somewhere around 10-12 years old. If doors are closed, he rips up the carpeting. He boxes with the other cat who was (unfortunately) declawed. He swipes at the dog. He has scratched through the bottom of litterboxes, despite frrequent nail cuttings. He has destroyed the corners of the three couches I've owned. Last week we got a new couch that we actually like and wanted to preserve, so I bought some Soft Claws from my vet. I was sure he wouldn't tolerate them, since he is intolerant of so many things. After some serious histrionics while we put them on(a team effort for my husband and me), and some initial licking and chewing, he has left them completely alone.

I am so impressed with this product. I have recommended it to all of my friends. He no longer can hurt the other animals, the furniture, or us.

I have been using Soft Claws on my cat for 3 years now. I just love them! My cat Misty was a very destructive kitty, clawing carpets and furniture was her favorite past time. Misty was adopted by me at the age of 7 weeks, she had been abused and suffered emotional problems. I adopted her from the MSPCA knowing she would have problems. Little did I realize that she & I would be the best of friends! Of course she doesn't like anyone else...but that's beside the point. Anyway, I rent an apartment and the landlord decided to put new wall to wall carpet in. I refused to have Misty declawed, I think it's a cruel surgery and ordered Soft Claws. Misty had no problem adjusting to them and I ordered them in bright pink so I know when she's missing one. I just love Soft Claws and my cat Misty has had no adjustments with them. I fully do not believe in declawing, Soft Claws is the ideal method.

I just wanted to thank you for your innovative Soft Claws. My husband and I have a wonderful 2 1/2 year old male cat (14 pounds!) who still thinks he is 8 months old and likes to play constantly. He is truly a sweet, mild tempered cat, however, he likes to play too rough. If there is a finger or toe wiggling, he is batting at it with all 10 claws. And if a piece of furniture looks like it will play, then he's in "play-attack" mode.

This wasn't too much of a problem until I became pregnant with our first baby. I was devastated to think that the only choices I had were to surgically de-claw, find a new home, or risk a non-intentional injury to the baby. Fortunately, I found your Soft Claws information via the internet.

Soft Claws is the PERFECT SOLUTION to sharp claws! They are easy to put on and my cat doesn't even know they are there. I've been using Soft Claws for about a year now, and have been really happy with the results. (Although, I'm sure my cat, Duster, would argue differently.)

It seemed that I was trimming his nails weekly, and in turn, he was sharpening them constantly on my furniture! He doesn't like to sit still for long, and once he figures out I've got the trimmers in my hand, he immediately starts to squirm out of my hands. It sometimes takes two of us to keep him still long enough for me to just snip the end off without cutting his nail too short.

One day, I happened to be visiting with a friend who told me about these little "caps" she just put on her cat. I was curious, and the only other alternative I knew about was de-clawing. I didn't want to de-claw my cat. After all, cats rely on their claws as we do our fingers. I can't imagine cutting my fingers off at the first joint so why should I do that to my cat?! So... when my friend mentioned this new thing called Soft Claws, I became curious, and searched online for them, and wha-la! I ordered them, and have been using them every since. Now, instead of weekly battles with my cat, I only have to worry about it every few months, and my cat's much more happier with me too!

Another great thing about Soft Claws is that I have a five year old step-son who loves to play with the "kitty." Before Soft Claws, we always had to make him stop playing, for fear that the cat would get too aggressive with him and scratch him... which he often does. (Especially since at that time, he was just a kitten... with sharp little kitten claws.) Now, with Soft Claws, we don't have to worry about any marks, cuts, scrapes when they play.

I am the proud mother of a 4 and 9 month old kitten, and must send you some comments about Soft Claws. I am dead set against declawing, and after a very negative experience with a declawed cat who had a severe behavior change after the operation I was even more against it. (I didn't declaw him, I adopted him that way.) When I see how my kittens love to climb, I can't even think of putting them through such a procedure. There is absolutely no need to.

I live in an apartment where declawing is a must on the lease. When my 9 month old was neutered at 6 months I thought I'd give Soft Claws a try. It took him only about 24 hours to get over the fact that there was something there that shouldn't be. He's gone through 2 sets so far, and They've worked out great for all of us. My 4 month old is a little small yet, but when he goes in for neutering he will get his first set on as well. Fortunately my apartment manager hasn't asked for their declawing certificates, and if she puts up a fuss about it I do intend to make an issue of it.

The problem with Soft Claws is that no one seems to know about them! I found out about the product through an advertisement in Cat Facy. However, I have many friends and neighbors with cats that declaw because they don't realize there are alternatives. When I show them my kitty's claws, many people say they wish they had know about the option and may have considered it. You need to advertise more. I've made postings in cat newsgroups letting people know about them and many have seemed intrigued.

Thanks for giving cat owners this option. Declawing is just cruel and unnecessary.

I just wanted to let you know that I received my shipment of Soft Paws last Thursday. My husband and I put them on our cat that night and she is still wearing them! It hasn't bothered her in the least and she hasn't attempted to get them off, not even after we first put them on. Our new sofa is "scratch free" and our youngest daughter has enjoyed showing her kitty's pink toenails off to all of her friends.

I am so glad that my friend found your website before we followed thru with the declawing. I really don't think that people understand how cruel the surgery is and that there are other options.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that the kitten-sized Soft Claws work fabulously on Iguanas! Yes, besides our cats, we have an iguana. Clipping his nails was turning into a weekly, painful process. Our vet recommended and applied them to Petri; at first he was a bit unhappy that he couldn't use his claws to grab things, but he quickly learned to use his entire hand instead.

Hi, My name is Lynn Tanner and I am the Executive Director for the Klamath Humane Society, the only animal welfare organization in Klamath County. We try to involve ourselves in as many projects as we can to generate support for us in this rural community. We've been around since 1977, and most of the farmers here think we're not necessary: breeding and disposable companion pets are all a part of life. I'm just writing to tell you how pleased I am with Soft Claws. I bought a set of Soft Claws over the Internet a month or two ago, when my cat began to look frustrated with my very active infant, who chases him incessantly. However, when the product arrived I looked at the kit and decided that he would never tolerate them, so I put them up in a cabinet. As much as he hates having his nails clipped, I figured there was no chance he would let me put on the Soft Claws.

But then the baby chased the cat once too often. The last time I wasn't fast enough to get between them. His swatting paw caught her in the face and left a little cut very near her eye. That was the last straw. I decided to take the plunge and put the Soft Claws on him...no matter how much he hated them!

I was very surprised. I won't tell you that he enjoyed the application process, but I will say that it wasn't any worse than a regular nail-clipping. After I finished he bit at them for about 20 minutes the first night, and then once or twice the next day, and he's left them alone ever since. I can't believe it! And they've stayed on perfectly since then.

He has not hurt the baby since that point. He has taken a couple swipes at her since then, and I know when he actually touches her because she cries (a little fear and a little frustration). But when I go to get her there isn't a mark on her.

This is going to save me a lot of chasing, the baby a lot of scrapes, and the cat a lot of scoldings. We're all very grateful.

I am SO HAPPY that I can finally order Soft Claws online! I have a neutered male cat, Jackson, who is 8 years old, and he has been wearing Soft Claws since he was a kitten. The only thing I do not understand is why EVERYONE with a cat is not using them. I am constantly telling people with cats that they must try Soft Claws. I recently adopted a male cat from my local SPCA. The cat, it turned out, loved to scratch on furniture. I found your product on the website and it arrived in two days! The product works great! It has solved all of my problems.

I own a business (facials) and I talk to my clients on a personal basis. Many are cat lovers and I have told them about your product. I have repeatedly downloaded your info from the web and handed it to them. Would you please send me a supply of brochures to my business? That way, I can just put them on my brochure rack and spread the word. Maybe I can prevent more cats from ending up at the animal shelter because an owner becomes frustrated-- more so, prevent one cat from having their claws removed surgically. I received the soft claws and so far have been extremely happy with them! I put them on Gizmo my 2 year old Ragdoll, who is my biggest scratcher on Friday night as soon as they got here. I was really expecting him to have a fit, but since he is used to having me clip his nails anyway, I had them on in less than 10 minutes. Since then, he has only lost one from a dewclaw. I may not have had enough glue on it though. Taz, my 3yo Ragdoll is next. He doesn't scratch the furniture very often, but he did on Saturday like he was asking me for trouble! LOL It will take a bit longer to get them on him, I'm sure. You have a great product and I will be purchasing more I can guarantee you. Now I can get my furniture recovered and not worry about them tearing it up again!

Let me just say that I am the last person who would have ever considered putting caps on my cat's nails! I've converted. Soft Claws are a miracle! We were seriously going to give away our cat because we couldn't deal with the destruction anymore and nothing else helped. Then our vet told us about Soft Claws. They are very easy to put on. (We found it easiest to have my husband hold her down while I put the caps on. I also determined they stayed on better if you put a little more glue in the caps than the instructions say.)

Our cat didn't mind them at all, even at first. Now, 5 weeks after the first application, only one has been shed. And our expensive leather chair is safe (not to mention my nerves)!

I never knew that declawing was a brutal operation. I had called a Veterinarian to ask about it, and had the good fortune of contacting one who refused to do it. He told me it was excruciating for the animals, that they howl in pain for hours or days after the operation. He recommended Soft Claws and helped me with the first application. I am so grateful that I did not put my beloved cat through the torture of declawing. Soft Claws are convenient, humane, and to my delight, easy to order on the Internet!

I didn't expect to say this but I am actually impressed. My girlfriend tried something like this a few years ago but the cat didn't like it and she didn't keep up with it. I am moving in with her in a couple of months but she has thousands of dollars worth of damage to her apartment caused by one sweet little cat. I told my girlfriend I wouldn't move in with her unless she tried Soft Claws again and kept up with them. When we first put them on the cat didn't like them and tried to chew them off. My girlfriend and I made it a point to correct Kizzie, her cat, by using a strong *NO!* and pulling her paw away from her mouth. Within an hour or two she stopped picking at her Soft Claws and now after only a few days, she acts like they aren't even there. I am always a skeptic and never allow myself to get my hopes up when I make a purchase. I hate disappointment!! This is one of the few times I can honestly say that a product went above and beyond my expectations. We are looking forward to trying the different colors of Soft Claws so that Kizzie will be the envy of every cat in the neighborhood.

My cat has had his Soft Claws for one week now. I am very pleased with the look and the feel of the caps. When I got him I thought I would have to get him declawed to protect our belongings, after all, my friends cat has torn her home to shreds! But a co-worker told me about this site, and that he has been using the caps on his cat for quite a while. Although over his lifetime it will cost more to keep caps on those paws, I am much more happy that he will not have surgery, and I am sure he is too! That happiness is worth it.

Mom said I could send you a letter. I got pretty Pink nails on! They are really bright! I like them, (but they make typing a little hard). I got to go for a car ride to the vet to help pick them out. Mommy bought me a toy for being such a good girl. Everyone at the vet likes me! Now the new furniture won't get hurt and neither will I. (I didn't want to be declawed).

Both Mom and I think it would be great if you put our feelings on your website.

Mom and Dad left me all alone for a whole week with the new furniture. I was good and the furniture is fine. A nice Lady did come check on me but I'm a scardy cat and hid.

Hi. Just wanted to let you know I was successful in getting 8 Soft Claws on... did all but the inside of the paw. She hated them going on.. but I did 1 or 2 at a time and then gave her a pounce treat. She does not seem to mind having them on .. she uses her scratching posts and all seems normal. Thank you again for your advice.. I hope the all don't fall off at once as I could be in trouble if I have to start from scratch.

I love Soft Claws! I have allergies and I used to scratch at my face a lot, to the point that it would bleed. I have scars all over my face from scratching at it, I used to bleed all over my owners furniture (they were not too happy about that), now they let me sit on the furniture again. My owners used to stuff lots of pills down my throat to make my allergies go away (which may I say did not help one bit). But now that my owners have discovered Soft Claws they don't do that anymore.
I still scratch at my face but I do not bleed or even break the skin.

I just wanted to thank you for selling such a fabulous product. When my husband told me about Soft Claws I was skeptical. I thought, if these work so great why have I never heard of them? Luckily, they are extremely affordable so we decided to give them a shot. We have three cats who love to claw furniture, radio speakers, carpet, etc. They were very easy to apply and the cats were used to them within only a couple of minutes!!! This product is a MIRACLE and I am not saying that lightly! We can now keep all the doors in our home open and live like normal people. My cats are fine with Soft Claws on; they still behave the same way they ordinarily would. They still try to scratch but they can't! This is a perfect solution to saving your furniture and/or having your animal declawed. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! Again, I can't stress enough how easy these are to apply and how the cats don't even notice they are on. I can't praise you enough!

I am a new cat owner [rescued my little Sparky off the streets] just 4 months ago. Before that I NEW NOTHING about cats as I considered myself a dog person. I also have a Labrador Retriever who I adopted from the Guiding Eyes for the blind 4 and a half years ago.

I found you thru a lady who lives in my building who has a cat and swore by your product. The both of you saved me from doing what I anguished the most and that was declawing little Sparky. And thanks to your GREAT product I don't have to.

I put the Soft Claws on Sparky two days ago and he doesn't even bother with them. Which is really surprising. He has yet to take one off. Needless to say I will be ordering more of this marvelous product so that we can have a long lasting non destructive relationship. I love Sparky to death as he is very friendly and gets along great with people and with Teal [my dog].

I can't believe someone abandoned this guy in the streets. I believe that your product will save thousands of cats as I'm sure that many people DECLAW them , put their cats up for adoption or just simply get rid off them because of the damage they can cause to the furniture and or other animals in the same household with their claws.

Well, I just wanted to thank you for the special reason that I use Soft Claws. My cat has a scratching disorder that causes him to open up a sore between his shoulder blades. After months of vet visits, a Victorian collar, prednisone and cortisone shots, gauze bandages and baby tee-shirts, an application of Soft Claws on his back feet have virtually ended his suffering. I have used Soft Claws for the first time on my cat Tuni and they are MARVELOUS...it didn't even take her much time to get used to them! I never liked the idea of declaw but I just got some new furniture and was pondering it.

I started using Soft Claws on my cat, Cleo, one year ago. I am still amazed at how well they work for us! My cat doesn't even notice that she has them on and I only have to replace one on average, once a week. It is well worth the cost to me and I'm sure my cat is much happier than if I were to declaw her. I just wish I had tried them sooner because my last couch (which was very expensive) was completely destroyed by her. I am writing to you today to tell you what a great product Soft Claws are. They were easy to apply, and "Bob" doesn't even realize he's wearing them. Bob was hit by a car seven months ago and had extensive damage to the right side of his face when we adopted him. He lost the vision in his right eye and his nasal passage was crushed on the right side also. Since then he has persisted to scratch the right side of his face with his right rear claws until bloody, so he's been wearing a cone for most of the last seven months. His vet tells me he's fine, but I'm not so sure. Anyway, Bob's cone came off today for the last time, he thanks you and I Thank You.

I was at my wits end with the cat I adopted from the Humane Society - she was always testing her claws on my furniture, my daughter, and myself. Now, we don't have to fear her sitting on our laps!! I made the mistake of having a cat declawed (all 4 paws). His personality changed a lot. He acted like he was in retractable pain. I felt soooo bad, but it was too late. I have a Maine Coon and a mixed breed also. I just ordered Soft Claws for both of them. I didn't have my show cat declawed because he is "special". But I realized that all of my pets are special. My children are grown and my grandchildren are around frequently and we stress the importance of treating animals like people. If they wouldn't want something done to them we teach them not to do it to the animals either. It has changed my philosophy toward a lot of things. I didn't realize how much I have changed, for the better, until I promote safety and humane treatment for all living creatures. I am proud of you and the work you do to help the animals. I wish I had a Noah's ark so I could have two of every living creature on the earth, but my husband likes to eat, therefore currently we have only 2 snakes and 2 cats. But I wish I had more. I have three very busy cats, who can't seem to remember their manners, especially around the new furniture and carpeting. I recently moved into a new house with my fiancé, who I might add had many reservations about the quantity of cats I brought in tow. He was right, the first object of the cat's obsession was the new carpeting on the stairs; I spent many of nights chasing them away and then locking them in the basement. The furniture was next.......I purchased Soft Claws back in June, the first application was easier than I had expected. The biggest problem was the abundance of cat hair, I was covered from head to toe, but it was well worth it. I'm a little lax about reapplying nails when one falls off, I usually wait until at least three or four are missing, but the stress level in my house (for all of us) has just about disappeared. Thanks to Soft Claws I can sleep an entire night!!

I just wanted to write to you to tell you what a wonderful product Soft Claws is. I live in a rented apartment and my cat is destroying them. I was worried about my landlord making us pay for them. I didn't want to declaw Mickey, but I was running out of alternatives. I did an internet search about declawing and saw Soft Claws referenced many times. I ordered them and put them on right away. He was not distressed at all while I applied them and he hasn't licked at them yet. So far so good. Now when he scratches at the rug nothing happens.
